Second African art fair in London announces tickets

Advance tickets for 1:54 Contemporary African Art Fair 2014 has been announced by the organisers.

Holding at at Somerset House, London from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 October 2014, the tickets include Combined ticket: day entry, a copy of the 1:54 Catalogue and a 2014 edition tote bag, to be collected on entry; Concession: Reduced admission is available for 13-18 years and full-time students with a valid NUS/ISIC card on entry; and Children: Admission is free of charge for children of 12 years and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

The fair, which is about to make its second edition after last year debut is described as a  transnational platform for artists, galleries, curators, independent art centres and institutions dedicated to promoting African and Africa related art practices and projects. Selected exhibitors hail from global territories including Kenya, South Africa, France, Italy, Germany, UK and USA to showcase over 100 emerging and established international artists.
