How UNESCO halted a Jewish exhibition after Arab League’s protest

Reports coming from Europe. and Middle East some hours ago say the United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO)  has pulled off a Jewish exhibition titled People, Book, Land – The 3, 500 Year Relationship of the Jewish People and the Land of Israel.

The show was said to have been canceled after “a zero hour protest from the Arab League,” The Algemeiner reports.

Other sources say the exhibit, which was the creation of a Los Angeles, U.S-based Jewish human rights group, the Simon Wiesenthal Center (SWC) in collaboration with UNESCO, was to open on January 20, 2014, at UNESCO’s Paris headquarters.
