Ejiofor’s Oscar nominee confirms prediction, faces tough contenders

With the announcement of the nominees for the 86th Academy awards today, the Oscar countdown begins.

Nigerian-born British actor Chiwetel Ejiofor ia on the Best Actor list for his his performance in 12 Years a Slave up agaibst actors such as Robert Redford, Leonardo DiCaprio, Idris Elba and Bruce Dern.
