'How President Olusegun Obasanjo inspired my prize-winning work’ says Ndary Lo (1961-2017)

Senegalese sculptor, Ndary Lo who died of cancer, June 8, 2017, at the age of 56 years left behind sculptural identity reminiscent of the walking bronzes of the Swiss sculptor, Alberto Giacometti.

Biennale when he won the top prize, 
Ndary Lo disclosed how a former
 president of Nigeria, Olusegun 
Obasanjo inspired the forestation
 sculptures that gave him the win.
