Raji and Akin Adejumo are the authors in the race for the the 2014 edition of the
Wole Soyinka Prize for Literature in Africa.
The long
list of the fifth edition of the prestigious award has been announced by the organizers,
Globacom. According to the organizers, the long list was drawn from a total of 163 entries submitted
from 17 African countries in the Drama genre.
A shortlist
will be announced for the biennale prize in June and the grand prize winner is
expected to emerge on July 5 at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
