Yesterday, a sculpture of former South African President Nelson
Mandela, was presented in Howick, South of Durban, which
commemorates the 50th anniversary of Mandela’s incarceration by the defunct apartheid regime.

Standing at 10
metres tall and made from 50 steel columns anchored in a concrete base, it's a sculpture by artist Marco Cianfanelli. The new monument is made up of 50 steel rods of between
