Artists of Inside Life confront survival challenges

A section of Vivid Gallery.
Over 30 artists converge to share their experience and thought about challenges of survival.
The artists' point of convergence is a group art exhibition titled Inside Life, currently showing till March 28, 2020, at Vivid Exclusive Art Gallery, Lekki Gardens Phase 2, off, Abraham Adesanya round about, Lekki, Lagos.

The CEO of Vivid, Gabriel Jideonwor said the exhibition is a gathering of young aa well as experienced African artists.
"These exhibiting artists are increasingly conscious of the many contradictory sides of life, how they influence the potential of an individual or a group, of the battles the stronger ones still have to face," Jideonwor sayer. "They show through their work some of the struggles they encounter, how they fight the Inside Life, the foul side of life, where jealousy and envy strive, demeaning others, creating sadness and pain, poverty and sickness."
The artists, he said, hope that the creative mind can touch many, foster encounters and alliances to support each other. He added that such hope "can engage change, discovery and greater strength of the artists."
Having such a gathering of artists at Vivid Exclusive Gallery, Jideonwor explained,  "is to promote African artists across the world." The artists, he noted, collectively come "altogether with great aesthetics, different perceptions and mediums in one exhibition."
