ADEOLA Balogun, Odogwu Fidelis, Aina Felix, Babatunde B. B., Ato Arinze, Djakou Kassi, Busayo Lawal, Damola Adepoju, Joshua Nmesirionye, Idowu Sonaya, Sylvester Aigbogun, Olumide Oladiran, Luke Osaro, Dotun Alabi, Ariama Okeoghene, Kafaru Abiodun, Olusegun Mokayi, Taiwo George-Taylor, Sola Muyiwa and Sam Ebohon, not in a particular order are artists whose works of diverse interests have reason to converge.

The common point of convergence for the artists is an ongoing group exhibition titled Infinite Visions, currently showing Quintessence Gallery, Park View, Ikoyi Lagos, and ending July 5, 2025. According to Quintessence Gallery, the exhibition highlights the diverse practices of he artists, reflecting the dynamic spirit of contemporary African art.

The gallery added that the exhibition brings together a curated assembly of emerging and established talents whose works explore the infinite possibilities of form, identity, culture, and imagination. "In a time marked by both uncertainty and creative resurgence, Infinite Visions invites viewers to witness the power of artistic multiplicity — where each artist's unique perspective contributes to a collective narrative of innovation, resilience, and hope," Quintessence stated. "This show celebrates the role of art as a vessel of infinite expression and interpretation, traversing mediums and meanings across sculpture, painting, mixed media, and ceramics."

With the exhibition,l, the artists chart new paths and possibilities, weaving together threads of heritage, innovation, personal memory, and societal commentary. Infinite Visions is not just an exhibition, it is a celebration of the boundless capacity of the African artistic imagination.

"It has been a great pleasure for us at Integral Visuals Ltd working in collaboration with Quintessence to present this great exhibition for your relaxation, " a curatorial statement stated. "This exhibition titled Infinite Visions is very unique, in the sense that, it is made up of various styles and fusions from every artist we are featuring."

The curator explained that the exhibition "represents a vista through which we can view the works of various masters within the Nigerian art space. Infinite Visions stands for endless creativity, boundless expressions, inhibited movements and styles, which are evident in the artworks of many contemporary Nigerian artists."

The statement added that Infinite Visions represents the ever evolving use of various mediums, that range from Oil colours on Canvas to bronze or metal sculptures that are rendered in delectable mannerisms. The artworks that are being exhibited have gone through various scrutiny, and they have passed to be selected for art collector's delight.

In his review of the exhibition, Dr Olusola Ogunfuwa wrote about what it takes to see without boundaries.  "To see infinitely is to perceive without limitation, to step beyond the known into a space where possibility breathes freely," wrote in a piece titled Infinite Vision As An Exhibition Beyond Boundaries. "In this exhibition, some paintings unfolds like horizonless landscapes: Bargaining (Stock Exchange Series), Visitors Limit, and A Royal Welcome. Some other landscapes conceal their depths: The Craft Market, and New Estate; while a few others found reality in their simplification and abstraction: Urban Glow, Aramoko Ekiti, and Ikole Ekiti." Dr Ogunfuwa who is of Faculty of Creative ArtsUniversity of Lagos, Akoka, Lagos State asserted: "The sculptures bend space into organic rhythm and immerses viewers in thought and sensation."

Excerpt from Dr Ogunfuwa's review: "One finds illumination and suspension in Solitude; Turing Point; Reimaging Queen Nefertiti II; We, the People, and I No Go Gree (Fela). The water colour drifts like whispered emotion A Royal Welcome, and glazed ceramic works (Textured Vases, Baobab Tree in Dry Season, and Trashed)reflect the shifting light of existence itself. The didactic nature of some other even concealed the temperament of the mediums of some works: Urban Tapestry, Portrait of Mrs. Adorable no.1, Our Heritage, Wings of Angel, and Diligent Hand. When closely studied, each piece is not merely an artifact, but an invitation—an open door to the aesthetics of the unseen, and sometimes the unknown. From this body of work, there is a sensation of the poetics that aligns with my perception of the majority of the artists, with whom I have personal and professional rapport.

"From the depth of my interactions, it feels like a thousand horizons melt into one; that is, the brush- and chalk-strokes of oil, acrylic and graphite becoming boundless expanses of colour. In all of these paintings, vision moves beyond the canvas, spilling outward into motion, into light, into an embrace of the infinite. Abstract fields dissolve structure, while ethereal landscapes stretch beyond their frames, refusing containment. The colours whisper, shifting as time and emotion interact with them, pulling the viewer into an immersive conversation that exists only in experience."
